Develop and/or implement management measures for nonpoint source pollutants specific to bodies of water in the Southern California region, which include Calleguas Creek, Santa Clara River, Malibu Creek, McGrath Lake, Ventura River, Alamo River, New River, Imperial Valley Drains, Coachella Valley Storm Channel, Upper, and Lower Newport Bay, Rhine Channel, San Diego Creek Reach 1 and 2, Big Bear Lake and tributaries, San Jacinto River/Canyon Lake, San Mateo Creek Watershed, Shelter Island Yacht Basin, Rainbow Creek Watershed, Santa Margarita River Estuary Watershed, Baby Beach in Dana Point Harbor, Tijuana River Valley, and Loma Alta Slough Watershed (refer to Section E of the program guidelines on pages 30-31 & 34-38).
Currently accepting applications with a deadline of 5:00 pm on Monday, December 19, 2022.

Proposition 1 Grants – Coachella Valley Mountains Conservancy

Non-profits, public agencies, and tribal governments.
Land acquisition projects that preserve watershed features, watershed restoration or enhancement projects, and infrastructure projects that facilitate water management or develop delivery structures.
Applications have a deadline of September 15, 2022. Eligible applicants must request a Pre-Application Consultation no later than August 22, 2022, in order to submit a final application.
Approximately $1.6 million is available in the current funding round.
